Your Photoshoot Experience

During your photo session, I use light, shadow, and specific posing to create a mood and bring out your best look. All of my clients are women who I have collaborated with and guided as far as posing, styling, and bringing out the more intimate side of each person. We work together to create images that you love.

- Preparing for the session involves discussing styling and concepts ahead of time, including a mood board I create to ensure we are on the same page for what you want out of your session. I want to discuss what you want out of your Frederick Boudoir experience and understand what this session will mean to you. Are you just wanting to have a fun time and feel sexy, are you celebrating a milestone, looking to feel confident and strong, or something else? Sometimes I do Zoom or Facetime introductions before the session to help you to feel more comfortable, however video discussions are only if requested and are not required.

- I ask that you arrive in loose fitting clothing that does not mark the skin to prepare for your photos and what you will wear (or not wear) during the photoshoot.

- If you would prefer to do your own makeup that is completely okay, however the hair and makeup artists (HMUAs) I use are top notch and know how to create gorgeous hair and makeup specifically for boudoir photo sessions.

- During the photo session we play music of your preference, the temperature will be set to your preference, and light snacks (such as fruit) and hot tea or coffee are provided.

- With hair and makeup along with the photo session portion, I typically block out 3 hours of time. An hour to hour and a half of hair/makeup and then hour and a half to two hours of photoshoot time.

- Your photo gallery to select your images will be ready within 5 business days. Options for photo selection includes digital file options, individual prints, and photo books. All of these are provided at different pricing tiers.

How much does it cost?

Pricing for the session fee starts at $495 without hair and makeup. This session fee is non-refundable and holds your session on my calendar. I allow one reschedule within 48 hours from the photo session at no additional cost, however any additional reschedules will incur additional scheduling fees.

For sessions with hair and makeup included, pricing starts at $695 and is a non-refundable fee with the same reschedule policy as above.

Digital photos, prints and photo books are an additional fee and are not included in the session fee but I offer competitive packages. Reach out for the pricing list for prints and digitals!
